 Natalia Pérez del Villar
 
Natalia Pérez del Villar was born in Oviedo, Spain. She started her studies of dance at the age of nine with classical ballet. At the age of thirteen, while continuing her studies of classical ballet, she began to study flamenco dance in Oviedo where she performed with the Cuadro Flamenco de Iván Bravo. With Iván Bravo she also learned jazz and the Russian dance. She then moved to Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz) to continue her flamenco studies at La Fundación Andaluza del Flamenco.
Before moving to the United States, she taught and performed throughout Spain.

For the past five years, Natalia has been teaching and performing flamenco in Denver.
She continues her own dance training in modern dance, Argentine Tango and taking flamenco workshops.

Natalia studied flamenco with Paloma Fontenelle, Iván Bravo, Matilde Coral, Rafael "el negro", Marisol Moreno, Juan del Valle, La China and Pablo Rodarte.

Natalia and Mark have a flamenco group call "Embrujo Flamenco".
Embrujo Flamenco performs traditional flamenco and now they are working on modern flamenco, mixing traditional flamenco with other rhythms, such as rock, hip-hop, and funk.

As a choreographer, she prepares and directs all her shows.
For Overland High School Natalia had choreographed dance pieces for the regional High School Dance Competition at Global Art Fair in Greeley, Colorado, USA, winning 1st prize two years consecutively.
She also has worked with North High School,
with the director Jose Mercado, in the play "Blood Wedding" choreographing the dance parts for
this play. She also colaborated with Jose
Mercado in the play "Simply Maria".
 
Natalia teaches group, private and semi-private classes.

Natalia is currently working with Nina, Mark & Gregory (Grisha) in their new company "TangOlé Compañía de Danza" as a choreographer, dancer & singer.
         

Biografía

 

Natalia Pérez del

Villar nació en Oviedo, España. Empezó sus estudios de ballet a los nueve años de edad y a la edad de trece, a la vez que seguía con sus estudios de ballet, empezó a estudiar flamenco en Oviedo donde hacía espectáculos con el Cuadro Flamenco de Iván Bravo. Con Iván Bravo también tomo clases de jazz y danza rusa. Natalia se mudó a Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) donde continuó sus estudios de flamenco en La Fundación Andaluza del Flamenco.

Antes de mudarse a Estados Unidos Natalia enseñó y actuó por España.

 Los últimos cinco años, Natalia ha estado enseñando y actuando en Denver.

Ella continúa con su entrenamiento de danza

haciendo danza moderna, tango argentino y tomando talleres de flamenco.

 

Natalia ha estudiado bajo el tutelaje de diversos profesores, entre ellos Paloma Fontenelle, Iván Bravo, Matilde Coral, Rafael "el negro", Marisol Moreno, Juan del Valle, La China y Pablo Rodarte.

 

Natalia & Mark son los fundadores de la compañía llamada "Embrujo Flamenco".

Embrujo Flamenco hace flamenco tradicional y ahora esta trabajando en flamenco moderno fusionando el flamenco tradicional con difernetes ritmos com jazz, hip-hop y funk.

 

Natalia coreofrafia y dirige todos sus espectáculos.

Para Overland High School Natalia ha coreografiado las pizas de baile para una competición que se celebra cada año en Greeley(High School Dance Competition at Global Art Fair), ganando el primer premio por dos años consecutivos. Natalia también ha trabajado con North High School, con el director de teatro Jose Mercado en la obra "Bodas de sangre", haciendo las coreografías de las piezas de baile de la obra. Mas tarde volvió a colaborar con Jose Mercado, ayudando con movimiento de escenario, en la obra "Simply María".

 

Natalia está enseñando flamenco en Kim Robards Dance, PDAC Arts for All y Colorado Free University.Natalia ofrece clases en grupo, semiprivadas y privadas.

 

Actualmente, Natalia está trabajando con Nina, Mark & Gregory en su nueva compañía "TangOlé Compañía de Danza", como coreógrafa, bailarina y cantante.
